Paul is known for taking photos at Hunslet Rugby League games all of which are really of a great quality keeping people updated on matches that they can’t make it to.

Would I consider asking him to do our match photo’s or any other sporting event?

When writing a review, anybody can say anything about anyone. It’s easy and it’s not always genuine.

However, this review is one that I jumped at, because Paul has not only been a family friend for a lot of years, but the only person I would ever consider when it comes to photography.

I recently just went through the most challenging time of my life. I endured my 2nd open heart surgery, and to mark the end of a troubling time I decided to host a 5k fun run. 4 weeks post op and cross my own finish line. Of course, I walked, but more than 40 people took part by my side and ran it.

I went to Paul for the photography because I knew having followed his work, he would be perfect for the event. He rose to the challenge no questions asked and generously showed up ready. He had already been at the event site hours prior photographing it, to make an album that would demonstrate just how much this time and ending meant to me.

We were raising awareness and money for a charity that saved my life.

Every single photo that Paul took showed just how emotional and triumphant this run was. It showed how much effort every person put in. It captured groups concurring, and exhaustion from the people that put their all in. He captured the determination and the celebrations. He did it beautifully and he caught every person on camera.

I think he even ran more than all us combined, he put more effort in than expected and I was truly humbled that he was the one to do it.

So, to sum him up. The guy has more talent than he gives himself credit for and anyone that asks him to photograph for them is very lucky. He’s kind, genuine and will exceed anything that is asked of him.

Thanks to Paul my day of achievement was captured better than I had imagined.

We are so delighted we chose Paul as our wedding photographer. We saw some of his shots from another wedding and knew he was what we were looking for. Paul is so down to earth and easy to get along with we feel like we have known him for a lot longer and it was like he was one of the guests at the wedding! He got our photos to us in record time (to say how many there were!!) And didn't charge the earth! The photos Paul edited for us are amazing. The black and white ones are a particular favourite but you can see the work Paul puts in to make every photo perfect. He had some great ideas for shots that we never thought of but we're so glad he took as they turned out amazing. He was also brilliant with our 2 year old son who wasn't in the best mood on the big day!
